A year in the life...

Here we see the Hobbit, like the lone gunslinger, standing before the desert vista of Red Rock Canyon, somewhere in Nevada. Actually, it's just outside of Las Vegas. And the rocks are sort of red, but it's kind of dull looking. I thought it would be more interesting in black and white, set against a deep blue sky. And she's not really holding a gun. Just her ever-present bottle of drinking water.But even so, the picture does have a very dramatic feel to it.
