I like this picture because, if you look closely, you can see a figure with its arms outstretched. It was taken by a lake in Connecticut, on one of our many trips outside the city to commune with the countryside. This is one of the last pictures I took before leaving NYC for northern Virginia.The picture at first appears to be one where the image duplicated, flipped, and then joined to the original to create the impression of a reflection. But it really is a reflection from the surface of the lake. The picture was rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise to achieve this final image. The forest is on the left side of the image and the reflection is on the right.If you tilt your head to the left, you can see what the picture looked like originally. I think that this version is far more interesting.
