A year in the life...

It's early morning along the coast in northern California. Still a little dark, and very, very foggy. It's a beautiful, unreal scene. This lone tree atop a little hill is still partly shrouded by the fog.I shot the picture in black and white as I was just interested in the tonal values and I felt that it would give a truer rendering of this scene.
