A year in the life...

This is actually a replica, quite large, of one of the decorations that graced the Gare d'Orsay before it became the Musée d'Orsay, my favorite Parisian museum.I think that the purpose of this face is to keep away bad spirits and help to protect the memory of the artists whose work resides herein.
