Strange French road marker

 - Strange French road marker - Techno-Impressionist Museum - Techno-Impressionism - art - beautiful - photo photography picture - by Tony Karp

We were driving around in the south of France, somewhere between Vabre and Graulhet, when we saw this marker by the roadside. "What's that mean," asked the Hobbitt. "Ah," I said, "it means get out of your car and look at the scenery."

So we did. And, like just about anywhere in the south of France, the scenery was beautiful.

I decided to capture the moment on film. But it lacked something. If I just take a picture of this post, how will anyone know we were really here? So I held up my left hand to make a shadow on the post, while I snapped the picture, using my right hand. Nothing like putting a little of yourself into the picture.

But I still don't know what this road marker means. If you do, please let me know.
