A year in the life...

Not from NASA, but we saw these in San Francisco. Can you imagine going up and down those almost-vertical hills in one of these contraptions? It's no wonder they're wearing crash helmets.This was a grab shot. We were crossing the street and saw this thing. I whipped out my camera and pointed it at the mini-car. Just then, the driver looked my way, gave me a smile and a thumbs-up. Time for one shot and this was it.But the photo seemed to lack something, with the subject lost in all the clutter of the background and street traffic. So I filled in everything with black to make the subject stand out. The effect is almost like it was shot in the studio.
